The Armenian State Dance Ensemble “Barekamutyun” was established in 1987 and acts under supervision of the Ministry of Culture of Armenia. From inception, the ensemble gained wide recognition due to its unique style, which stands out from all other existing dance companies in Armenia. It has an exclusively distinctive direction in modern Armenian dance, combining elements of folk, classical and contemporary choreography. The ensemble also performs the folk dances of various nations of the world.
